Contractors in our network are independent businesses. Each one is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, workmanship, and customer service. If you have a problem with work at your home, start with the contractor. Keep a written record of what you say and what they reply.

We will confirm by email that we got your complaint, usually within a few business days. We will look into it. That may include contacting the contractor. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.
If our answer does not settle things, reply and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For licensed contractors, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help.
